THE STARS IN YOUR EYES....

We look deep into the eyes at night,
what we see might bring delight.
we stare at each other as we pass through the hall,
remembering things we done in the fall.
what things you might ask as you continue to read,
things of the past that the mind sometimes feed.
i remember the time when we walked through the park,
looking at the pigeons making their marks.
we stood by the pond, and we walked the trails,
they cut the grass too short now they have bails.
bails of hay they laid over dirt,
grass seeds they planted and water they squirt.
we sat by the statue so white and so clean,
never thinking who saw us, had we been seen?
i remember it all as i look in your deep in your eyes,
nothing can change that, boy how time flies.
